dan williams

co-founder / owner

Dan was a 4-year starter on the University of Pittsburgh baseball team, forgoing an opportunity to sign a free agent contract out of high school. He was an All-Star selection in the Cal Ripken Sr. Collegiate Summer League and a part of the 2005 AAABA champion Youse’s Maryland Orioles club. While playing for the North Adams SteepleCats in the NECBL, he earned an All-Star selection and was a Home Run Derby participant.

Dan graduated from Pitt with a BS in Marketing and went on to a sign a professional contract with the Florence Freedom of the Frontier League. During his playing career, he also played in the Atlantic League and American Association.

Following his collegiate and professional playing career, Dan’s career path took him in many directions in the business world while he always maintained his passion for the game as a private instructor and assistant high school baseball coach. On his way to founding PDS, Dan became a certified yoga instructor, FMS & TPI certified, a Strongfirst kettlebell instructor, and added a healthy dose of self-study, and other invaluable experiences such as the Cressey Elite Baseball Mentorship.

Eventually Dan launched his own business, DWill Performance, which specialized in performance training and skill instruction for baseball players. He successfully ran and grew DWill Performance for 2 years before teaming up with Chez Angeloni to start PDS in November 2015.

chez angeloni

Chez played college baseball at The Johns Hopkins University where he earned his degree in Economics. While with the JHU Bluejays, Chez received numerous honors most notably being named team captain along with earning CWS MVP.

After graduating from JHU in 2009, Chez signed a professional contract with the Boston Red Sox.

Chez has spent his entire professional career in baseball private coaching, camps, clinics, The Whiz Kids baseball program and now as Co-founder of PDS.

Dave lasnier

performance coordinator

Dave oversees the assessment, programming and physical training of all PDS athletes. A movement specialist, Dave most recently spent 2 years as a strength and conditioning coach in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Dave has over 12 years of experience training athletes (baseball, hockey, soccer and football) at the highest level, in addition to people from all walks of life. He also has experience as a team coach, coaching hockey at both the high school and collegiate level in Quebec. Dave is passionate about helping his athletes and clients not only improve their performance but their quality of life through proper movement training, diet and lifestyle choices.  

David earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the Université de Sherbrooke in Quebec.  He remains dedicated to bettering himself as a coach and fitness professional by putting a lot of time into continuing education. Whether it is reading, attending seminars and/or keeping in touch with world renowned coaches, physical therapists and other professionals in related fields, Dave is driven to stay at the forefront of knowledge and provide the very best to his athletes.
